Missions supported by Church on 99

As a result of the sacrificial and generous giving of the congregants at Church on 99, we are able to support the following God honoring ministries.

Home of Hope Rwanda:
is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children with desperate needs. They seek to create a loving & supportive home environment while providing food, clothing, education & Christian training.

Brian Thomson and a team of people from Canada, Rwanda and India make Home of Hope possible. They are helping hundreds of children and orphans on a monthly sponsorship program, sending many children to school, feeding children, helping widows and women with micro-loans to start small businesses and so much more.

Rwandan Genocide: In 1994, the genocide killed over 1 million people in Rwanda in 100 days. 300,000 of them were children and over 200,000 of them were left as orphans. The population today in Rwanda is over 8 million with 618,000 of them under the age of 14 either left orphans or suffering from HIV infections.

Home of Hope India: Since 1982, under the direction of Bob & Kay Hoover, Home of Hope India has rescued hundreds of boys with desperate needs and raised them to be successful adults. Some are now on staff with the Boys Home of Hope. In September 2009, Brian Thomson assumed the leadership role of Home of Hope India.

Please pray for brother Brian and his entire ministry team.

Living Stones Orphanage: is a ministry of the Christian Life Church and was founded in 1999. It was organized to care for orphaned, abandoned & unwanted children by providing food, shelter, education and heathcare and to facilitate local & international adoptions.

The vision of the Living Stones Orphanage is to see the lives of children at risk changed to Godly principles, honorable convictions and integrity for living, by providing the basic necessities of a healthy environment and love. To help them fulfill their desires and give them a future and a hope.

Ken & Cris Sandberg have been missionaries in the Philippines since 1989. They have been with Calvary International since 1995 and are currently serving as the directors of the Living Stones Orphanage in Davao City on Southeast Asia. Ken, Cris & their staff take care of these orphaned & abandoned children and help them find adoptive Christian homes. Some of them go back to their biological parents while others are adopted locally or internationally. Some still call Living Stones there home year after year. More than 50 children have come through Living Stones in the past year. Sixteen children are resident at Living Stones since July 2009, eight of them are infants.

Please pray for brother Ken, Chris, and their entire ministry team.
